Considered to be the largest empire in pre-Columbian America, the Incan Empire experienced a very rapid growth and subsequent fall within the 300 years of its existence. Though brief, the civilization brought with it many innovative tools and tactics that are still used today. We can even thank them for the French fries and potato chips we love so much.
